Parkway Drive;

The Australian metal band will be performing on the Main Stage to wake you up on a Sunday afternoon. The rockers have performed at a wide range of European festivals this summer and their Leeds and Reading appearance is 2 of many. Check out the rerelease of their fifth album, Ire: Deluxe Edition.

Giraffe Tongue Orchestra;

This band is an incredible formula of members from some of the most iconic rock bands of the moment. An impressive mix of William DuVall of Alice In Chains, Ben Weinman of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Brent Hinds of Mastodon, Pete Griffin of Dethklok and Thomas Pridgen of The Mars Volta will come to us on The Pit stage. Their debut, Broken Lines, will be released on September 23rd.

Rock band, Heck, formally known as Baby Godzilla make their R&L debut as Heck this year. They’ll be doing so from The Pit stage. Listen to their debut, Inscructions.

3 Bands YOU Need To See – Saturday @ Leeds Festival 2016.

Welcome back! Here we are, a day closer to the festival, which means 3 more bands that you cannot afford to miss at Leeds and Reading this year. Let’s kick it off!

Lower Than Atlantis;

These English rockers are certainly not strangers to the festival and are finally making their Main stage debut! The band has been away recording and writing their new studio album; if we’re lucky we might get a taste during their set. Listen to their new single, Work For It.

Rap Metal band, Hacktivist, released their debut album at the beginning of the year and will be performing on The Pit stage. They’re set to tour with Enter Shikari in late September across Australia. Listen to their album, Outside The Box.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes;

Ex-Gallows and Pure Love singer, Frank Carter, returned to us last year and better than ever. This is their second appear to Leeds Festival but this year they’ve been given a slot on the Main stage. Check out the album, Blossom.

3 Bands YOU Need To See – Friday @ Leeds Festival 2016.

Reading and Leeds Festival is only a short, sweet week away from us now. With that in mind, we’ve decided to compile 9 bands, 3 from each day, that you need to see. These 3 bands will be performing on the Friday at Leeds and the Sunday at Reading. So, on with the talent!

Five Finger Death Punch;

The heavy metal titans that hail from America will  be performing on the Main stage in front of the masses. This is the band’s first time playing the festival and is two of their last performances before going on tour with Papa Roach in September. Check out their sixth album, Got Your Six.

English, alternative rock band, Basement, will be making their second appearance at the festival since their reforming in 2014. They will be the second band to perform on the Radio 1/NME stage all weekend. Listen to their third album, Promise Everything and be sure to not miss them.

Arcane Roots; 

The three piece rockers are playing the Lock Up stage following their appearances at several other UK festivals. This is the band’s first performance at the festival since 2013. Listen to their EP, Heaven & Earth.
